Darryl has been successful at setting himself and the businesses he has touched, apart from competing elements.

Over the span of his 30-year career with Disney-owned ABC Radio, he played a primary role in launching ESPN radio and many nationally renowned radio shows, worked with top media personalities, and became the Executive Vice President and General Manager of ABC Radio Networks. Darryl was an All-American basketball player while earning a BA in Communications from Fordham University, where he currently sits on the Board of Trustees. After college he was a draft choice for the Boston Celtics and played in Europe for two and a half years before he left professional basketball to earn an MA in Broadcast Journalism, also at Fordham.

In 2008, he was at the top of his game, but jumped off the corporate treadmill to fulfill a new dream: to run his own media company while devoting more time and attention to his family. He founded BrownBoys3Media, where he enjoys personal balance and an outlet for his own creativity and boundless energy.
